MOUTHWASH Magazine: Home Issue
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
CREATIVE WRITING
EDITING
I project-managed, curated writing contributions, contributed writing myself, wrote the letter from the editor, as well as edited and proofed the second issue of MOUTHWASH Magazine: Home.
It was a seemingly impossible challenge and an immense honor, trying to sift through and make sense of what is such a fundamental truth in our individual narratives. How could one ever come close to capturing and evoking the feelings of the places we found safety in...or feared? The objects, people, memories that fill us with nostalgia or prompt us to create new, better versions of what once was. Home—no matter how it manifests—is a surprisingly elusive thing. For our second issue, the MOUTHWASH team and an inexplicably talented collection of contributors, tried to pin it down.
